My 'Aunty' Lon has been in my life for as long as I remember, one of a plethora of strong women my parents drew into my life. We didn't see her often, but when she was back from Libya she always brought something for me and told us tales from far away. I'll remember her laughter more than anything, and her sense of style. She and Noel made us welcome in Spain several times and again we spent nights listening to stories from both of their lives. Now they are reunited but will be much missed.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
